Standing Sculptures
I set myself a challenge to design a ‘storage screen’ where the storage and the screening were inherent in the silhouette, all it would need was a fold. Standing sculptures are like giant misplaced jigsaw puzzle pieces that you can hang your coat on or sneak behind to read a book. They are scaffolds for the detritus of everyday life. Positioned in an open living or commercial space, it serves as both a decorative object and a practical coat or bag rack.
