I am an artist and designer, living and working in Christchurch, New Zealand.

I studied Fine Art at the University of Canterbury, graduating in 1993, and Goldsmiths College in 1995. In 2003 I completed a Bachelor of Architecture at the University of Auckland. In 2016 I began working on a series of 'useful' sculptures. I am interested in the transformation of two-dimensional shapes into three-dimensional objects. I collect folded objects often discarded and unfold them to reveal the underlying shape. I construct my own imagined discarded shape which is then folded to become both sculpture and spatial divider. They are architectural fragments: wall, corner and alcove and scaffolds for the detritus of everyday life.
